The building's northern exposure, however, is all glass, twenty-feet tall, with a spectacular, unobstructed view of water, woods, and migrating geese. The second studio building is an addition that housed a two-level sculpture studio. The studio buildings and lake are nestled along a heavily wooded valley that twists its way to the west.
The structures, 45 and 35 years old, are showing their age and will need extensive updating. The studio currently houses the estate of former UW-Madison Emeritus Professor Dean Meeker, and it is desired to sell the studio and land with a two-year lease-back, so that the remainder of his extensive art collection can be liquidated.
